The courtyard of Terti Manor is surrounded by a 4-hectare garden. The Secret Garden beckons every green thumb and aesthete. It is hidden among the hops, almost concealed from the visitors of the main house. The offerings of the geometric garden include enchanting herbs, vegetable patches sown by color, and an apple, quince, and plum orchard. In spring, the cherry grove beautifies the courtyard of the manor.

In the heart of the manor’s old garden, in the sunniest spot, grows the forever blushing beauty, Terti Rose. The pink rose, the exact shade of the main house, has thrived in Terti’s courtyard for over two hundred years.

Herb Garden

The manor’s herb garden captivates with its scents and shapes. Come and admire the interplay of leaf shapes, color combinations, and planting patterns. In addition to culinary herbs, the garden offers salads, beans, and edible flowers. During the summer, you can enjoy the café’s delicacies and refreshments amidst the herb garden, perhaps in the middle of the hop-covered gazebo.

Walled Garden

The Secret Garden of the manor invites every green thumb and aesthete. It is located further away, hidden among the hops, almost concealed from the visitors of the main house, hiding the gardener’s cottage and decorative benches in the ruins of the stone greenhouse. In addition, the Secret Garden features a rose garden and a lawn house. The walled garden can be explored through guided tours.

Arboretum

At the foot of Kokko Hill, a little further from the manor’s courtyard, you will find nearly 100 different tree species. Various individuals, including ballet dancer Vladimir Malakhov and conductor Valeri Gergiev, have planted their signature trees in the arboretum.
